Glastonbury Tor

If ever you have watched the Glastonbury Festival, you will have seen the Tor in the distance. From my Granny’s house you can see it. Yesterday I climbed to the top. It is quite a steep climb but very enjoyable and the views make it so worthwhile.

Glastonbury Tor is a hill at Glastonbury in the English county of Somerset, topped by the roofless St Michael’s Tower, a Grade I listed building. The whole site is looked after by the National Trust, and became a fully protected monument on the 24th of April in 1954 due to it’s historic importance.
